MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT REPORT

Motor Vehicle Accident reports can be accessed on-line 24 hours a day, seven days a week by visiting CRASHDOCS.ORG Accident reports are generally available seven (7) to ten (10) days from the date of occurrence.

REQUEST POLICE INCIDENT REPORT

Reports can be picked up from the Raritan Police Department Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm (except holidays). The records clerk can be reached at 908-725-6700 ext. 12 or leony@raritanpd.org.

Please keep in mind that most reports are not ready to be released for seven (7) to ten (10) days from the date of the incident.

Most importantly, if the incident involves an ongoing investigation, the report will not be released until the investigation is completed.

All payments shall be made by check or money order. No cash will be accepted.

Temporary Handicap Parking Permits

Temporary Handicap Parking Permit application forms can be obtained from police headquarters Monday through Friday between 7:30 am and 2:30 pm (except holidays).

Requesting individuals must complete the application and have their doctor complete the appropriate portion.

Completed application forms should be returned along with a check or money order in the amount of $4.00 payable to: NJ Motor Vehicle Commission. CASH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Incomplete applications may delay processing.

Temporary Handicap placards are good for a period of six (6) months from the date-of-issue. They may be renewed one (1) time for an additional six (6) months.

Permanent Handicap placards are provided by the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission ONLY. Forms for such a request must be obtained from the Motor Vehicle Commission directly.
