BODY CAMERAS
The Raritan Police Department believes in treating all members of the public with the utmost respect.
The members of this department are expected to be professional and respectful at all times. Likewise, the members of the department expect to be treated with the same respect. In 2015 the Raritan Police Department purchased body worn cameras. Every sworn officer of the department has been issued a body worn camera and wears it daily. These cameras were purchased not only to protect the public, but also to enhance our ability to investigate allegations made against our officers. We are providing the following photographs, so the public is aware of what to look for when dealing with our officers.
